Download the SendItSecure e-mail client by clicking on the link below.  Be sure to follow the installation instructions below.

The SendItSecure software will run on Windows XP or Windows Vista.  Although it can be used with virtually any e-mail system, it will directly integrate with Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007. Important: Outlook 2007 users, read below!

The install program is digitally signed by "Living Software, Inc."

Installation Instructions

  • Do not plug in your fingerprint reader until instructed to do so.
  • Click on the link above to download SendItSecureSetup.exe to your computer.  The file will be digitally signed by Living Software, Inc.
  • If you use Microsoft Outlook, please exit it before running the setup program.

Using Outlook 2007 on Windows XP

(Note: The following instructions apply only if you are using Outlook 2007 on Windows XP.  If you are using Windows Vista, the following does not apply.)

In order for Outlook 2007 integration to work properly, you must first install the following components:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later
  • Microsoft Office Primary Interop Assemblies

You may download these components from the following link: SafeLiveOutlook2007Prereq.zip (28 MB)

If you already have the .NET framework 2.0 or later, you do not need to install it again.  However, if you installed Microsoft Office 2007 before installing the .NET framework, you still must install the Microsoft Office Primary Interop Assemblies.

To install the above components, extract the files from "SafeLiveOutlook2007Prereq.zip" to somewhere on your computer.  This will create a folder named "SafeLiveOutlook2007Prereq".  Open that folder.

  1. Close all Microsoft Office applications.
  2. Install the .NET framework by running the program calling "dotnetfx20.exe" and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Install the Microsoft Office Primary Interop Assemblies by running the file called "o2007pia.msi" and follow the on-screen instructions. 
  4. Download are run "SendItSecureSetup.exe" from above.
