SendItSecure Demo - Basic Usage, Biometric to Biometric User
Create new message
To compose a secure message, you simply click 'New Secure Message' in Outlook.
Compose Message
Compose your new message and attach any files. The message body and attachments will be encrypted if the "SendItSecure!" button is pushed.
Prompt for Fingerprint
Since this message will be secured, SendItSecure now prompts you to scan your fingerprint.
Scan Fingerprint
After you scan your fingerprint, it is verified against the original fingerprint you scanned when you enrolled. If it matches, the message is encrypted. This process takes only a moment.
Encrypt Message Contents
The contents of your message, including any attachments, are now encrypted and being transmitted over the Internet using your existing e-mail infrastructure.
Recipient Opens Message
When the recipient receives the message, he or she opens it by double-clicking on it in their Outlook inbox.
Recipient Is Prompted for Fingerprint
The recipient is then required to authenticate by scanning his or her fingerprint.
Recipient Scans Fingerprint
When the recipient scans his or her fingerprint, it is verified with the SendItSecure authentication server. If it matches the original enrollment, the message key is returned and the message is decrypted.
Message Decrypted
The recipient can now view the message and any attachments. As soon as the window is closed, all unencrypted data is erased.
